Default Finally, doing better

I sent my DFX back to Oregon a few weeks ago because I couln't find anything with it. Whites sent it back to me, tested, and said there isn't anything wrong with it. Well, in the past 5 hunts I have found an 1899 dime, a 1893 Indian head, both my first, a pocket spill with 47 coins, nothing old, and 5 wheat pennies amongst other "relics" mostly bullets. All of the wheats were quick broken signals fairly deep that I decided to dig. Needless to say I am very happy . I have passed over many broken signals in the past and now I am sorry. I WILL NOT do that again. I just got home here after detecting in between heavy, heavy rainstorms. I cannot wait to get back out. Thanks to all who gave me confidence when I was ready to give up.

Now if I can just figure out how to post pictures. Bobbie, maybe some help if you don't mind!?

Mark

Posting pics is easy.. make sure they are in lower quality/size or it won't allow you to upload.

I LOVE THIS TOOL: 640x480 images in a snap!!
Image Resizer

This PowerToy enables you to resize one or many image files with a right-click.

http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

Download and install it from the menu on the right
(Image Resizer
ImageResizer.exe
521 KB 2 min @ 28.8 Kbps
)

Once you have them sized create a new post and click the paper clip icon, next to the smiley face. It will open a window and you can browse to your pics and upload them.

turnerscc,
Thanks for you advice.I will give your suggestion a try. I'm terrible when it comes to computers. My girlfrind is a whiz. Next time she is here I will have her help me out and I will post pictures of all of my "meager" finds.

Thanks again

It can't hurt especially if your detector is still under warranty.

When I sent my DFX to them to be checked out under warranty I also sent them my Prizm V that is no longer under warranty that I broke. I told White's the cicumstances and I told them how and what I broke. They fixed it, FOR FREE!

Way to Go . Better safe than sorry and once you know it's not the detector then you just have to go over what you been doing and keep at it and you get results like you did. the more you get in tune with that DFX the greater the Finds . They are Awesome machines.

Good Luck & HH.
