My city made world news
For any of you who watch the news, the flooded town they have been showing in Ohio is my hometown and were i live, Findlay Ohio. the worse flood we have had sense 1913, the river crested at 8 foot above flood stage. But not to worry, we have more rain on the way lol. I'm high and dry, but that cant be said for the rest of the town. The town is exploding with new house's, 1/4 million and up homes, all underwater.
On the pluss side of the coin, I found a 1921 wheaty and an 1800's ring today, plain brass but it is the 3rd 1800's ring I have found, one more copper and one intricut ladies gold ring. I love finding old coins, but relics are my favorite.....HH.....Bill

Glad your High & Dry. Nice finds , I'll bet when the water recedes there will be some good hunting for you. I'll add your town in my prayers for those who weren't so fortunate.

Bill,
I saw Findlay on the evening news. It looks about as bad as this area did back during the flood of the century after back to back hurricanes.  Hope you stay dry. Glad to hear you are getting some hunting done. If you don't want any of those old coins you dig I will send you my address. Take care and stay safe. The flooding was pretty bad from what I heard from people and what I had seen on the news. Nice to hear you were able to still hunt and sounds like you got some good finds too. Stay dry.

I've been watching the news and hearing alot about your flooded hometown, glad to know you are ok and dry. And you're still detecting,, that's great. It has been raining here , and bad storms tonight, they are moving your way.
