Default Ace250 coils....will other Garrett coils work on it?

Just wondering if OTHER of Garrett coils such as the 8 and 8.5 concentric coils work on the Ace 250. I'm having a heck of a time pinpointing accuratly with the 6x9 standard Ace 250 coil. I think the fact that its eliptical has something to do with it. Am I wrong? Your input please?

Thanks RR

Default Pinpointing

Thanks CHuck:

Yes, I found that spot your talking about.
It seemed to work on some of my hits today. But other hits had me digging and digging. Just could not find anything there.
I finally took the damn coil off and put on my sniper coil. Everything went smoothly. It was my best day today. I went to a park near me that has a couple of baseball diamonds and some bleachers. I swear, they must have new I was soming and left their clad EVERYWHERE! Walked out with $7.80 in clad, a matchbox car and a couple pieces of broken jewlery.

No tell me, is this "Sweet Spot" on the coil the same with ALL eliptical coils regardless of make and model?

Regards\Robert
