Default I Love Detecting in the Fall

....here in Ohio. Kids are going back to school Tuesday, so the parks will be empty. The weather is starting to get cooler, good for early morning or evening hunts. The insects are becoming less of a problem. The ground becomes better suited for detecting, less hot and humid weather to dry out the soil. And the vegatation will start dying off to expose areas along and in the woods....I have a couple of cellar holes to check out.

I have a new detector coming, my Eagle getting repaired, digger, probe and coin pouch all ready to go.

Hunting Season is about to OPEN....

The Fall is my favorite time of year for just about everything...nothing like a crisp, clear Fall day to go diggin - and if I'm really lucky - to spend the entire weekend camping as well! HH!

I agree the fall is an excellent time to hunt. I was out yesterday morning but it was still very humid here. The cold front came through last night so it feels much better today.

Yes, this will be my first fall to hunt and I can appreciate it already. I have had a pretty hot introduction to the hobby and I am ready for some cooler hunting.
