Default New hobby;

Because of me finding this forum-I have ordered 2 detectors today-from one of your sponsors-an ACE 250-with sniper coil-and a Tesoro Tejon-with an extra coil--to be delivered to S.C. in early October,after I arrive there from Estonia--I will be 150 miles from the ocean-so, I guess a simple place to start is the park- no permission needed?- Kids will be back in school, weather cooler-seems like an excellent time to detect--So, finally-I will be giving up so much TV gazing and start MD'ing!-I enjoy reading this forum everyday-and seeing what you folks have to say and view your finds--Peace-----

Default Thank you--

I assume knee pads are a must-and an apron, of sorts, to seperate finds--and some sort of gardening tool to dig with--

A lot of us use the simple nail apron that you can get almost anywhere. I haven't been using the kneepads yet but think it's only a mater of time.....
