Default ACE 250 battery info;

For you folks that use the ACE 250-how many hours do you typically get from a set of batteries?-If a person was to detect often-would it be better to buy a charger and buy rechargeable batteries?-Are these batteries as good/long lasting as a store bought set of batteries? Thank you for any info--

I have not used them in my metal detector. That being said I use them in my digital camera and I really like them. I use the ones you can rapid charge in 15 minutes. Hope this helps you some.

Depending on the type of batteries you use will determine their lifespan. But it can be upwards of 40 hours. The use of headphones greatly enhances battery life also. I personally have not had good results from rechargable batteries. But if your in a position where purchasing batteries is too expensive for you then the rechargeables will be helpful. I haven't tried the new Panasonic Oxyride batteries yet, but with an initial 1.7 volt charge they should give you more current and longer life. Ok I hope this will be of help to you Mr.H. God Bless and take care.

Default Batteries

I use "KIRKLAND" Alkaline AA's in my ACE250 and I usually get 60-65 hours out of mine.
