That story is worth more than all the found in the dirt treasures there are. Often while detecting, I think about how much my father would have loved this hobby! And like Boobie said, there was a time when I thought my dad knew nothing, only to discover later that it was me that knew nothing and like BigBill, I learned alot of valuable lessons from him.
EPC, I very happy for you and your dad that you both found a common interest and are able to create a strong bond before while there's still time! My best to you both!
