I met leelo this evening...

I had the chance to meet leelo for a couple of cold ones this evening, here in Del Rio, Texas...got a first-hand look at the 1945 Mexican gols 2 Peso coin he found today...excellent coin.

I also had the chance to show off my silver & turquoise ring that I'm STILL trying to upload the pics on...at least ONE other TQ member can verify the find!

leelo is wealth of information and fun to talk with - and I enjoyed the opportunity very much...I hope to have the chance to meet more of you between now and the big hunt in PA!

I had the chance of meeting and metal detecting with Leelo back in July. You are right, he is definately a wealth of information and fun to talk with. Maybe you two can get together for a day of metal detecting!

Leelo and I filmed a metal detecting video when I was up his way in Illinois a couple of months ago. I did all the work to get it from the videotape onto my hard-drive and have only to burn it onto DVD. I have done the burning already without success - somehow the finished DVD is very choppy. I am having a hard time getting a better copy, like it is on my computer. Once I get a good copy burned, I will get it to you, Gregory, to put up here on Treasure Quest. As you mentioned, Leelo is definately a heck of a good guy. I learned a lot of useful information from him. He unselfishly took every moment of his time to allow me the opportunity to find old finds (which I did!). The greatest treasure during my trip was meeting Leelo and enjoying his friendship!

EPC Guy - I hope you were able to reschedule your meeting so you can go MDing with Leelo in the morning. Good luck to both of you!
