Hey All,
Thanks for all the well wishes. We have had some damage. Lost some shingles off the roof. Water in the attic, mostly due to the rain being blow into the vent cap on top. Had some water get into one of the smoke detectors and the alarm system keep going off until I finally figured out how the bybass the bad sensor. Lost elect a little bit after I posted this thread, got it back around 5 this evening. But all in all, nothing major. A guy down the road lost his whole roof. Everyone help him getting tarps over it. Its nice to live in a small town where people still help one another.
Again, thanks everyone.

I heard an anchor on one of the news channels say that for a Cat 1, it was very destructive.

Glad to hear everyone is safe, everything else can be fixed or replaced.

Yeah, we had tons of rain from the storm. Winds weren't too bad here but was somewhat gusty. Nothing new since we have had rain just about every day for the past three weeks. I am still kicking myself for not getting out this past weekend when it didn't rain! Now the forecast shows this upcoming weekend to be nice for detecting - but now I am sick with a cold! I did get away from work today in order to go see the doc (typical that I had to drive during the storm) - I want this bug gone so I can detect on the only dry days that the past month has had here!
