Default Which spot would you choose to hunt?

Ok I was hunting at a park today in the gravel lot and tot lots. The ranger stoppet to talk (thought I was going to be kicked out). He was telling me about the big stream that runs through the park. It is dry in a lot of areas and could be hunted.

Now would you continue in the gravel lots or go to the dry stream bed? This stream was gold panned by the way.

My finds in the 1st gravel lot $0.15 fo about 2 hours of hunting, thanks in advance, Beale.

I have heard of people finding coins in a dry stream bed but I probably would have stayed at the lot.

Go for the gold , gravel lots and kid lots wont get you any old finds in my opinion, and who knows you might find a nugget .

I'd spend the majority of my time in the creek bed - and hunt the tot lots on my way back to the truck...

I agree...Do both. Detect the park and the stream bed,, or better yet, pan for the Gold.

Me too, hunt for the gold but swing on the walk to and from the creek.
