Mostly right swinging, but I too am ambidextrous (love that word) and
can do most tasks with either hand, but I do play my guitar with my right hand.

I'm right handed in everything except I swing the detector with my left. just works out the best since my digger is on my right side. I set the detector to the left, and start digging with the right....

I'm partially ambidextrous (write righty(wd?), throw lefty). Sometimes I swing with my left arm, sometimes my right, and sometimes I switch

I usually use my right hand. When it got tired swinging the DFX I switched to my left hand.
Now that I have the X-70 and it is so light. I don't have to switch at all.

I use either arm. I'm starting to get "detectors elbow" so I have been forced to go to my left. and I have to agree pull-tab to the right, pull-tabs to the left........they have no shame.

I also have one observation I made last week while dectecting a beach....What's up with all the pennies??

I am a lefty with the detector but actually I am ambidextrous. Anything delicate I do left handed. Anything heavy I use right arm.

I use both!! It took a little getting used to but it is worth it if you do long hunts.
