Thumbs up Ring makes it back to owner

First off, the wedding date on the band was one week earlier than they were married. That didn't help LOL. I e-mailed the link on the Cook County page in regards to marriages and they asked me for the inscription on the ring. That gave me a last name to go on, and luckily they had a listed number which I found. She told me her husband actually rented a metal detector and looked for it himself. Obviously he never found it. It was lost pretty recently, about one month back during a volleyball tournament. She said her husband wanted to drop something off for me and I replied if I could detect their property (standard post WWII house) and look for old coins. She said no problem and in fact to look for a platinum wedding band her brother in law? lost while tossing a football over the winter LOL. I'll definitely hit the property if the weather ever cools down and we get some rain. Soil dust once again

Congrats on getting the ring back to the owner. I bet they were really happy. I cant wait to see what you dig out of their yard. Might find something worth more than that ring.
