Default 1st time out with prizm 5

I chose the prizm 5 as a replacement for the prizm 2 I sold off.I went hunting early this morning near a football field.I found a few quarters and some mixed change, nothing old.A silver flask lid and a padlock.I must say I like the 5 much better than the 2.I like the multi tone and I like the depth indicator.Smart notch is cool too.Pinpointing is a snap with the hole in the center of the coil. You dont even need to push the pinpoint button to find the dead center of a target.I was wondering if anyone else here uses the prizm 5 .If so,what are your comments

It's a good feeling to be comfortable with your detector.

Glad you posted this thread. It gave me a lot of encouragement, and food for thought. I have a Prizm III, and have been thinking about upgradeing to the Prizm V. The Prizm III is my first MD, and it's a good machine, and it has depth finder that the II doesn't have, but I think the V would be much better with the smart notch, and multi tones. Also I'm glad you mentioned the hole in the center of the coil. I was wondering if that helped with PP. One other advantage is the Prizm V has a 9.5" coil, where as the Prizm II, III, and IV only have a 8" coil.
Keep us posted on how your Prizm V is working out for you. I'd like to hear more feedback, and see some of your finds with it.
