Thanks everyone, I haven't really done any research on using tumblers, but I have 2 tumblers that I bought a few years ago and each came with 3 different grade powders, as of yet haven't used either.
But seeing how I try to read all the posts, I'm getting some good ideas here. Neither tumbler had instructions. The only question that I have is what ratio of powder to water do you use?

The instructions that came with the tumbler said to only use enough water to cover the items - so that's what I did. As for the grinding powder - it mentioned no specific amount to use - in both cases, I used about a teaspoon full. These powders seem especially effective, so I think I could have used less (maybe 1/2 tsp).
