Default Went To Palm Beach

To visit my family from Peru in a wounderfull resort right on the beach. I took my fishing gear and my metal detector and was eager to detect. 50 miles later I realized I forgot my scoop The fishing was also terrible because there were too many waves so no fish. I did have a great time with the family but I feel bad because it looked like there were some good prospects around. Also no metal detectorists around the area. Has this ever happened to someone?

Yup, happened to me, went to West Palm Beach to visit our daughter and forgot my scoop, got that awful feeling like when you reach into your pocket and your keys aren't there . Got on the web, found and called a local club that told me that RTG wasn't too far, so I went and bought one!

That's as bad as forgetting a fresh set of batteries when you're on your last bar!!! Guilty.

Another thing I do when I travel now is find out if any of the TQ family is near your destination. They can hook you up when missing something.

Not something that yiou wanrt to have happen, especially when you are so far away! I leave my scoop in my car because of that!

Default yes

I usually do but took it out because I needed space for something else a while back and forgot to put it back.

Well, Smartfox you should have let someone know you were coming. I live in West Palm Beach and although I don't have a long scoop for water hunting we could have figured something out. Give me a holler next time you come.
