The Price of Gold...
The price of gold is up like crazy!! I heard today that this is the highest it's been since the 80's!
 I just thought I'd bring it to everyone attention cuz it's good to know! Anybody got any thoughts? Or know more about this than me..? Please share! - Ali

To be honest, I'm not much into gold as far as wearing it. The only two pieces I wear regularly are on my left hand. The rest of the pieces I own stay permanently in my jewelry box. I think hubby might be worried that if I learn the true value of gold I might start trading some of mine in for more metal detecting equipment....so I can go out and find more gold. hmmmmm....

I'm the same way Riki - the only gold I wear is on my left hand,... but I inherited it from my grandmother
 - Everything else I have is silver, but hey... not wearing it just means that if you find it, you won't wanna keep it as bad, right?  Oh yeah! And GREAT link MinelabMan - everything right there at a glance!

TOO LATE!!!
I have a beautiful collection of gold/gemstone jewelry in a tall jewelry armoir - but you know, I probably haven't opened that thing in going on 4 years! I should be ashamed of myself. Heck - for all I know Joe's already sold all the good pieces. Hmmmmm - maybe that's why I got my ACE so quickly???????? Now I'm in a panic and am running upstairs to go look!! What do you think, Minelab...shall I wear sapphires or emeralds for our hunt tomorrow???? Better not wear too much or I'll end up at the bottom of Marsh Creek and Minelab will be heading home to his beautiful wife with his pockets jingling and swearing that I never showed for the hunt!!!
