i was detecting our local beech. my mind was wandering and i was dreaming of black beards long lost treasures when my detector sound off. sweet sweet non ferrous tone. i bend down and try to grab the gold and diamond ring that right their in plain sight. but that old lady woke up b4 i got it off her finger and started wailing in on me with her beach bag and i thought she would never stop...


and i know what every one of you is thinking ...of course i should have asked owners permission b4 i detected.


just kidding folx. robber is serious and so are the resulting head injuries. it wasnt a beach bag it was her umbrella she hit me with...

You could always wait a bit ,because you know they will be losing that in the water shortly for you too pick up. If you do as your wife says, just wear dark sunglasses.
