Ok, lets say that you've been extremely lucky at your hunt and found a nice gold ring with a big ol' diamond. The wife/gf/signifcant other doesn't want it, tells you to sell it. You say ok thats fine.
Where would one sell something like that? Ebay? Jewelry store? I know several folks keep their gold and melt it down, but THEN what? I'm dying to know cuz maybe, just maybe someday, I'll run into this dilemma :) |

I was told that you have to pay for an appraisal to find out how much something is worth. I've also been told that my fine gold necklaces that I found would barely cover the cost of the appraisal. So for now I'm a collector of yellow and silver metal and shiny stones. Jason
