Thumbs up

Being around aircraft for 20 years I am kind of deaf. I can hear better and tell the signals better. It's good on the beach or in noisy areas. They are a good tool. Buster

As well as blocking out noise from around you, they will also increase your battery life.

I use them all the time. I also am a bit deaf, and like to hear the sounds better.

It also allows me to pay better attention to my hunt, Beale.

I have always used headphones. I know they are hot in the summer months but they block out all of the background noise. I feel they are a must!

I tried them on my last hunt, besides being hot I found them to be a neusance when you set down the detector to dig.I had to remove them, then put them back on.Just another step, but I,m spoiled.I like to travel light.

I use my headphones in areas that I need to filter background noise, however, with the heat and having long hair they do become a nuisence.
I agree they prolong battery life as well as hearing fainter tones are a plus. I prefer to hunt with out them.

I use them all the time. They are a bit hot in the summer, but I can hear faint signals and they help me to hear potential targets better, especially if there are more than one. They also greatly improve battery life.

Hi DB, It sounds like you need a set of Killer Bee headphones or SunRay Pro-Gold headphones!! I wouldn't be without my SunRay headphones. And yes they give you much more battery life and help you hear those subtle sounds that mean treasure! I would be happy to be of service to you when you get ready for a good set. So God Bless you DB and happy hunting too. I wish you much success in finding the big one! Thank you Sir.
