Default Ghost Stories

Anyone have any good ghost stories? I do believe they exist because I saw one not to long ago. A friend said his house was hunted and he set up surveillance and caught it on tape. If you turn up your volume on your computer you can hear it for sure. GHOST IN PICTURE - HALLOWEEN SCARY STORY

Just told this story last night. When we bought our house in SC and moved here in 2002 my middle son Matthew caught the flu he had a fever of 105 and was miserable. The next morning he told me about an old lady holding him and telling him he would be ok. I thought he was halucinating. About six months later we were at a neighbors house looking at photos and Matthew said Mom that lady in the picture is the one that I told you aboutholding me when I was sick. My neighbor Nancy told us her name was Ollie Starnes and she was the original owner of the house we bought. I would not say my house is Haunted I would say we share our abode with a caring lady who calls it home.

We heard walking up stairs. I mean really heard it. There was nobody up there. They said that they would hear it all the time.Think about that. Sometimes I still do..Buster.....

Wow Greg, that was amazing, it took awhile but I finally saw the ghost (pretty ugly looking thing) and good thing my volume was up, what a eerie sound it made, like it was calling out for help!

We lived in an old farmhouse when I was young, and the door to the cellar would never stay shut. As far as we could see, neither the door nor the frame was warped in any way; it opened and closed very easily; when we shut the door, we couldn't open it without turning the knob...and we would even jump around in front of it - trying to see if a soft spot in the old hardwood floor was causing it to open when someone walked past...nothing. We never saw the door open on its own, but anytime you would come into the hallway - the door would be open about 6-8 inches. We never saw anything or heard any strange noises...and this went on for several months until my Dad installed a simple "hook and eye" latch...problem solved! ...for just about a week - and then one morning my Mom got up to find the door open again (all of us kids were too short to reach the hook). From then on, it was the same thing...we finally got so used to it, that I don't think we even bothered to use the hook anymore - we'd just close the door. ...Can't say for certain that it was a ghost - but I can't say it wasn't either...

Default An ole huntin buddy and I...

were hunting in a swamp bottom off the Ouachita in South Ark. Now before I get into this story let me tell ya about my buddy. We called him coot. Coot stands about 6 foot 2 inches, weighs about 210,not an ounce of fat on the boy. He was a full back in high school, hard as a rock and aint scared of nothin. We been hunting and fishing together for many years. Been in some bad jams a time or two (I want go into that here).
Well, like I said we were back in a swamp bottom, miles from any decent road and probably a good half mile from where we had to leave the truck. We were bow hunting. Anyways, it had gotten dark by the time I got back to the truck and was waitin on Coot. He came up and didnt have much to say, wasnt talkative. When we got in the truck,he was white as a ghost soz I asked him what was wrong and he wouldnt say nothing. About half way home (which is about a 2 hour drive) he said he would never go back hunting again and to this day he hasnt. About a week later he opened up and told me what happened. He said he seen something moving through the woods about 30 yards from the tree he had his deer stand hung in. Said it looked like a man but it was like he was transparent or something.
Well it was enough to scare Coot, and I kept hunting but never went back to that spot, lol.
John
