Default Well trained

Rosie and I were detecting a play yard in one of the local schools last weekend. We were joined by a young gentleman about 8 years old who dropped by to see what we were up to and then wanted to learn more about detecting.. I let him use my detector and he soon found a penny..
Future detectionist in the making.
As we were leaving I offered him the $2+ that we had dug up.
"No sir, that's yours, you found it."
I kept offering, he kept refusing..
Finally the light came on, "Your folks taught you not to take money from strangers huh."
"Yes sir"
I went over, dug a hole in the wood chips and tossed the coins in.
"Now you go find it, then it's yours."
He got this big grin on his face and as we were walking off was happily digging away...
Good day detecting..

So far I've found one very old license plate, a lot of nails, some funky green pennies and other misc. change.. but who's counting? I'm just here to have fun, giggle, and make friends along the way!
