Default Things No Good This Weekend

Went to detect Saturday to Miami Beach to that sit-up machine at that park I told you guys a while ago and they just tore the whole park down to build new buildings. There were fences all around it and could not go in. Went to detect around the beach there but not too much luck. It tics me off because the park had been around for a very long time. Good thing is that I did recover a lot of coins while it was there

It will discourage the weekend Detectorists and leave more room for us.

Tough luck at the park! It really sucks that it was locked, Beale.

Thats too bad about the park. But you got out and had a day of detecting and that all that matters.

Bummer about the park. Nothing a little research can't solve. Good luck.

Glad that you were able to make finds prior to this and hope you have some more good places in mind. I just got December's issue of W&E Treasures but haven't had a chance to read it yet with all the trick or treaters, but the title of a story on the cover really caught my attention: "Will We Have Detecting In 2020?" Your post smartfox and Buster's reply brought it to mind. Soon as I get off of here I'm going to read it!

Alan, If you get a chance give us a little overview on the article. Is urban sprawl taking over everywhere???

Default Thanks guys

will do more research. Only detected about 30 minutes in an area i had an idea it was not going to be too good and it was not. Had plans to go to my dad's house. Anyways had a good time. I need to either plan a weekend or take a day off just for detecting.
