Default Hunting a Haunted Park

Today I had the opportunity to meet and hunt with another TQ member...Jerry (AKA TklSafe). Jerry lives just a few miles from me, and he and I had swapped PM's off and on last wee to hopefully get together for a hunt.

Well, this afternoon was the day - and what a place we hunted! The park is now known as Cheesman Park - and is haunted to boot! It was once the first cemetery in Denver and has a very dark history (see link).

The park is huge (and beautiful, I might add) - and will take Jerry and I a year or more to hunt thoroughly. This afternoon was great - we both found some clad (no silver today - but I KNOW it's here!) and each of us found a token (the first I've found - a light-rail token).

Jerry is a great guy and has a fantastic knowledge of the area...I'm certainly glad to meet him and I believe he and I will have some great diggin in the future!

Enjoy the story - and if anyone would like to go on a night hunt...I'm game!

PS - there are still an estimated 2000 bodies buried in the park....

GHOSTS OF CHEESMAN PARK?

Congratulations on you guys getting out. Sounds like a great old park to hunt, I'm sure there's silver, and more there, that is, if the ghosts will give it up , they may not like you poking around at night.

I suggest not digging more than 5 feet, 11 inches down :0)

Wow! What a fantastic hunt site. Night hunt would be so totally awesome and scary. You will most definitely get out from under Guido's thumb, if you hunt there long enough. Might I suggest you take a bit of an offering to the dearly departed? Be safe and find some good stuff!

I'm still yer favorite, right? hehe

that's what I'm thinking, too! I told Jerry yesterday, that I thought I'd just dug up a finger bone - and you should have seen the look on his face!
