I have cruddy luck at beaches, as far as finds under my coil go. But I found a pretty cool find that day in Oxnard. Shawn and Peg are great peeps if y'all get a chance to hunt with 'em, do!
I guess I really do need to take advantage of where I live and hunt more in the sand. I just need to figure out the best way to do it with my Ace250. It sure hates wet sand. I've really been thinkin' about getting that Detector Pro Headhunter Pirate for huntin' in the sand and wading in the ocean. I just haven't heard any reviews. I'll wait and see what the buzz is come next spring. I really like the idea of having all the guts in the earphones, but we'll see. I can't afford to waste $300 if it's not worth it.
