TQ is by far and away the best site for Metal Detectives any where online. PERIOD

Many of the good people on this forum are joining another forum, and I do NOT fault you for doing so.

If you want to join another feel free to do so. I would hope that you keep your membership here as well. Lots of very good people here who support each other and have nothing but positive atitudes toward our members and guest.

Newbees who are just learning to cut a plug and ole timers who have dug a lot of dirt in there day. Male and female ...TQ welcomes you with open arms.


If you want to go test the waters please do. But do remember that TQ is here for you.


NO ONE can say with all honesty that TQ members or our founder was blatantly mean to them. An individual may have stepped on toes and it is Greg’s job to tend to those matters.

If you do join another site and decide you want to cancel your membership here. That is your prerogative too. But please do not trash this forum or its good members where ever you go.

I am banned from a couple forums myself. And I was banned just because I belonged to other forums. I never ever try to trash talk the ones I have been banned from. There were good members there and the people do not need to be belittled because the mods or operators were so petty Life should never be so petty.


If you do leave us for good always remember the good people here. Remember the words of encouragement. Remember when you had your 39 cent clad day with no wheats ,silver, or gold and the good folks on this forum told ya to keep the faith. Remember when ya found your first silver and all the folks on here were as happy for you as you were.


NO OTHER FORUM ONLINE, will praise you through the good and encourage you through the tuff like the TQ members will. No other forum will pray for your sick, offer words of condolences, or even tell you happy birthday like the TQ members do.

I can honestly say that TQ is my online home.

I would hope the members who have joined another
forum do decide to come back to TQ. It isn’t just one man or woman who makes this place so great. It is the collective sum of all the great souls.


Feelings are hurt, and I can understand that. I do miss the good folx who have left. Some of them felt a need to burn there bridges.

I truly hope all who go DO NOT DO THAT.

Remember that TQ wants every one us.

I am having surgery today. (It is right now 230AM EST) I am nervous and cant sleep. Not just because of the surgery but so many other factors.. But I must bid you all ado for now. Good night and God bless. And please ponder this thread with all seriousness.

Hello Bill,Best of luck on the surgury.I know that hair implant's can be touchy ! Sorry just kidding.I'm sure you will be fine and out diggin in no time.As far as the folks joining another site,I dont see what the big deal is.I have been a member of this site and Tnet and now i have joined in on the other.You can never have to many friends and should never put all your egg's in one basket so to speak ! Take care bud and dont worry it will be aaaaaaall right !

Hey Bill, I'm sure everything will be alright, as well. When it all boils down, all the people at both sites are great people. There's just some differences. I just can't find it in my heart to dislike anyone, so I'm now keeping one window open for both. If I don't see some people on here that I used to, I just go say hi on the other. I'm still here and will be. I'm a pretty loyal person, so this has been trying for me because I care for all involved, and this is the best I can come up with.

I believe that most of the people , myself included are pleased to be part of TQ and also the other forum. It is not that we are leaving it is keeping in touch with others who have left. It is all about Medal detecting not who the boss is or which forum is better. Talk to you soon and best of luck.
