Default Does anybody know??

I live pretty far out in the country and I need to drive a long way to get to jewelry stores to have stones tested. The jewelry store uses a little electronic device with a probe on it that beeps, If the stone is a diamond. I would like to buy one or price one. Would anybody know where I could find such a thing. ( I found a ring with a very large stone and if it is real, I am guessing it is about 1/2 to 3/4 carat. the gold on the ring is 10 carat. I will post photos later I left my digital camera in a friends car and won't get it till Monday. Thanks for any halp you can give.

Congratulations on the find, I hope it's real!

I was looking at testers awhile ago, Julie's idea is a good one, but there's so many out there with such a wide price range. I just never got around to pursuing it. Let us know how you make out.
