my birthday, even tho its next Wed. You ever have one of those days where its just great. Today was mine, lol.
I have been wanting to tell/report to some of you since you helped me on my journey as I was looking for a detector and also want to thank all of you. As some of you know I bought a M6,and really havent had time to get out to some places I want to go,mainly have been hitting an old ball field thats covered with tot lots now and a park. I have found a lot of clad. Had about five days off last week and had been looking forward to do nothing but detect, then my mom (78 years old) fell and broke her ankle and leg,had to have emergency surgery. I was with her all last week and weekend. Shes doing better now, getting the hang of a wheelchair. Anyway today I was able to go to a very old Boy Scout Camp (no longer in use as a Scout camp, but is a park). I didnt know how it would go, so I stopped at the main office at the park to ask permission. The lady told me go ahead, just dont dig up any flowers. Im not gonna mention the wheaties or mecury dime I found or clad (so this post doesnt get moved, lol,jk). The M6 works great in the trash. There was many iron and pull tabs. And Im sure many of you know how it is. But it is just cool to listen to that machine work with a small coil. You make one sweep and hit many targets. It sounds like a machine gun if your sweep is fast, lol. But whats really nice, you can work each target even though its only an inch or two away from another target. I worked it fairly slow in the heaviest trash. What else was nice, ( as I knew this scout camp when I was a lad), I would work an old area and could go to a tot lot also. The camp is one of those places that you will be able to make many trips to cause its so huge. This is winded,Im sorry, but just wanted you guys to know I like the M6 and I am getting out with it a bit. Thanks to all of you again, HH John |

Gator congrats on the M6, I think your going to really like it. I have no complaints on mine, learn the tones and you will be amazed at what it can do. Good luck and keep hitting that scout camp. I also wish your mom a speedy recovery!

Glad to hear your mom is doing better now. Your site sounds very promising. Good luck with it, and the M6, Beale.
