Default Tumbler

...No, not the one BATMAN used either...

I'm in the market for a good coin tumbler. Gonna be a Christmas present to MYSELF...I deserve it. Yes I do,,, I've been good...honest . I've cleaned up my potty mouth and cut back to 2 cups of coffee per day. And, I harbor no hard feelings towards GUIDO for all the Silver coins he hid from my searchcoil.

Speak to me, I'm all ears....

Price range is $50 - $100.

Anybody got any opinions on a good one to get. I havn't seen much info posted about them. I need to clean the dug clad I find. I really think the Bank is getting a little dis-enchanted with all my " Dirty Money " I bring in. Soap and water is just not cutting it any more.

I got the harbor freight one a while back $30. Its not great but it gets the job done. I recommend a 2 barrel model so you can do pennies & clad at the same time. Most of the sponsors carry them.

I have the one from Harbor Freight as well.

I find it works pretty well. It is not noisy like my daughters plastic rock tumbler. It is not that expensive and it gets the job done.
On Harbor Freights website I see they have the dual drum tumbler on sale currently for only 5 dollars more than the single drum. $35 for the dual drum right now. That's $15 off the regular price.

I just ordered a Lortone tumbler from John.

Welcome to John's Detectors

I have been looking at theese for a while. I decided to spend a bit more up front in hopes that in the long run it will last longer. I only got the single barell, but I had other items to buy and limited funds.

Good luck with your choice, Beale.
