I had to walk around bearfoot the rest of the day. Couldn't bend over to pull on my boots.

Feeling miserable?
Not. Not in the least. In fact I went out metal detecting and froze my
#@&*@$ off, but made off with 40 coins. I'm not kidding! This time I took the Ace 250 out, went to "custom mode" and notched everything from iron to pull tabs and the nickels as well. The only thing left was pennies, dimes, twenty-fuve cents and higher to the right on the VID. Used the sniper coil as well.

The high school next to a small park whre I live was deserted. The tennis courts there at the school had been left unlocked. There is a parking area in from of the courts with a large patch of lawn about 150feet long by 60feet wide. I swear, no one had MDed there for quite sometime because everywhere I swung my MD I got a hit. The quarters and dimes just kept coming and coming, kinda like LasVagas(:-) I left the pennies and collected the bigger stuff. Although I notched out the nickels I did end up getting one. Odd.

By notching out so much I may well have lost a gold ring....maybe but I sincerely doubth it.

SOmething I noticed is that even though I got a solid ring on the Ace, I did end up digging a pull tab or two and a couple pieces of soda can that
had been chewed up by the grounds lawnmower. I would guestamate that
of all the targets I dug only 1 or 2 percent was junk.

Regards
Robert Roy

So far I've found one very old license plate, a lot of nails, some funky green pennies and other misc. change.. but who's counting? I'm just here to have fun, giggle, and make friends along the way!
