I think most use a tumbler to clean. I myself stick most all of my finds in a plastic jar till it gets full. Then I will clean them off.....Buster....

Tumbler is the best route to take for cleaning Clad coins. I'm looking for a good one right now.

DO NOT clean any Silver coins, other than in a little soap and water. And don't rub the dirt off them when found, they scratch very easily. If its a KEY Date or other coin of significant value, scratches will degrade it real quick.

I have ordered a tumbler for my clad. Any of my good coins will just get a ggod rinse and soak in some soapy water. Good luck to you, Beale.

PghBob, Welcome to TQ I do know ONE place. My Sisters yard. Me & my brother in law have been over and over it with several different detectors and NOTHING, I even ran my PI over it and NOTHING Not a Ping or a Pong, beep or boop, NOTHING. Very Strange to say the least. Almost scary. Anyway glad to have ya aboard ! OH Yeah, We did have the detectors turned on.

Good Luck & HH
