Default did real good this week

Found a 14k ring at a park. Was thinking on selling it but the wife loves it so she owns it now. On Saturday I went to South Beach and detected the beach. First I detected at a beach park and found a few quaters in the 60's then at the beach then the weirdest thing happened. I got this good signal and when I looked at the scoop there was this carboard looking thing all stuck to the coins and there were 21 coins in there. They are foreign and say queen elizabeth the 2nd. Also there are different denominations on the coins from pennies to what I think is pounds. yesterday my wife and I cleaned the coins with tarnix and there is one coin that looks like a quarter and has a 10 and we think it could be ten pounds and the coin looks silver. going to try to postsome pictures soon.

Sounds like you had a great day, congrats on the ring!! It also sounds like you got a very nice little cache of English coins, Beale.

Well done smartfox on finding that ring! The coin sounds like a ten pence piece. If so, it will unfortunately not be silver.

Kind Regards,

Colin (in England)
