I take my 99 Jeep when I go. I usually will park it in some public place and will hike in to remote areas. But avoid the woods during hunting season. You could use reverse psychology and put a sign in the window that says STEAL ME. Any would be theif would think it was a setup.

Simple, Put a fake Cam inside the car. with a lil red light on top powered by a 9V. Make sure it has a lil' annenta on it.

get some lettering thats says "department of correction" or " Private Investigaters.. " put it on the side of your truck.

For the most part if you do your home work you'll and know the area your hunting.. you'll find the right time to hunt the even risky of places.

thieves arnt awake a 6am most of the time.

I too have my Comp name on my truck, it helps on security, howevery everyone knows it you that knows you. If you do somthng wrong or tresspass mistakenly.. you make urself easy to find. For me, it keeps me from doing somthing stupid... and I need all the help i can get..

Smile

This might be a good idea.
Prevent some curious types.

This might prevent me from leaving couple of those west Texas rattlesnakes in the front seat. (smile)

Thankyou,
Doug

I live near our southern border. If a vehicle gets stolen here only 2 things can happen
1. It will be in mexico in less than an hour and you'll never see it again
2. Stolen by joy riding punks will trash it and you dont want it back anyway.

Solution: insurance including GAP insurance

If someone wants your vehicle there is nothing you can do about it.
alarms are a joke. BTW I rarely lock my doors, If #2 steals it and you do get it back there will be less damage.

I don't worry about it...

1. If someone is going to break in to my truck then there is not much i can do but call my insurance after the fact..

2. I don't ever park where i can be towed...

3. I always have a fire arm on me..(I have a concealed carry permit, but in AZ you dont even need that. You can carry all day every day as long as it is not concealed)..
