Default Need some CW help here...

Ok, I'm gettin' serious about starting my Civil War series, and I need some help in picking the most influential figures...

I know the obvious ones - Grant, Lee, Sherman, etc., but I know some of you guys know more about them than I do, so whatever insight you can give would be most appreciated!

Default Pickett's Charge

Major General George Pickett (CSA) had the distinction (negatively) of leading the most futile charge of the war. However, he's still beloved by all of us rebels - and would make a fine subject for your series. (My opinion.)

Clara Barton. Not a general but an inspiration from that time. Consider John Brown too. He helped start the fire. Just some random thoughts of mine.
