Hey Pappy, we still got LOTS of dirt roads here. The wife and I did over 100 miles of dirt roads this past weekend. As a matter of fact, Colorado has the highest 'per capita' of broken windshields in the country. Makes you kinda proud. I even detected an 1800's house on the trip and found a....1976 Memorial Penny! I LOVE dirt roads, especially when you have to kick in the 4 Wheel drive on the Wrangler!

I recall one time meeting this old fellow walking out of the Doctor's office, which was also on a dirt road. The old fellow seemed to be strutting and had a rather arrogant air about him. When I asked him why he seemed to be 'high and mighty', he looked at me and said, "De ole Doc toll me I wuz IMPOTENT!"

Default This one came to me from my step mother.

I LOVE this one.....it will make your day. ----
Send this to the Seniors in your life...I'm sure they'll appreciate it!!

We went to breakfast at a restaurant where the 'seniors' special' was two eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast for $1.99.

'Sounds good,' my wife said. 'But I don'twant the eggs.'

'Then I'll have to charge you two dollars and forty-nine cents because you're ordering a la carte,' the waitress warned her.

'You mean I'd have to pay for not taking the eggs?' my wife asked incredulously.

'YES!!' stated the waitress.

'I'll take the special then.' my wife said.

'How do you want your eggs?' the waitress asked.

'Raw and in the shell,' my wife replied.

She took the two eggs home.

DON'T MESS WITH SENIORS!!! We've been around the block more than once!!

Default Letter from Ireland

THOUGHTS FROM ACROSS THE POND

An email from Ireland to their brethren in the States...a point to ponder despite your political affiliation:

'We, in Ireland, can't figure out why people are even bothering to hold an election in the United States .

On one side, you have a pants wearing lawyer, married to a lawyer who cant keep his pants on, who just lost a long and heated primary against a lawyer who goes to the wrong church who is married to yet another lawyer who doesn't even like the country her husband wants to run.

Now...On the other side, you have a nice old war hero whose name starts with the appropriate Mc terminology married to a good looking younger woman who
owns a beer distributorship.

What in Lords name are you lads thinking over there in the colonies??

HUNTING

Two hunters were dragging their dead deer back to their car. Another hunter approached pulling his along too. 'Hey, I don't want to tell you how to do something, but I can tell you that it's much easier if you drag the deer in the other direction. Then the antlers won't dig into the ground.'

After the third hunter left, the two decided to try it.

A little while later one hunter said to the other, 'You know, that guy was right. This is a lot easier!'

The other added 'Yeah, but we're getting farther and farther away from the truck!'
