I know what you mean Iron, it just sneaks up on you. I need to get out detecting more for the exercise....I'm going to try that excuse on my wife

Yea Its that time again..I will be shedding 15 lbs myself, and getting more exercise this year..Being a workaholic dont leave me much time for thinking about diets..at 37 I aint getting younger...180 is my target weight..humm 7 years back when I raced cross country dirt bikes I eat like a horse and weighed 170...my wife has the High metabilizm thing going on eats like a horse and stomps the scales at 115..she's the best cook I know and she's killing me lol..good luck..james

When I get on the scales, the message I get is: "one of you guys will have to get off"!
 I travel all the time...eat terribly and spend WAY too much time entertaining clients...  I'm with you on the diet - just rum and DIET coke for now!

Scales -this soon after Thanksgiving and Christmas???
Man! Anyone who diets now, is definitely braver than I. I'm not about to confront my scales this soon after the holidays.
Suggestion: Scales  (But good luck. ANy brave soul that starts a diet this time of year is to be commended. )HH & Happy New Year! HL

I've been on a low-fat Atkins diet since Oct. 1, and I've lost about 40 lbs so far... got a bit more to lose, so I'll keep y'all updated...
If I don't get this tooth fixed quick, I won't be eatin much of anything, so I might get there sooner than later...
