Default Bigfoot encounter!

I was walking through the woods and thought I saw a bear GOTCHA! I was out yesterday for the first time with my new BIGFOOT coil.My Christmas gift for me.I must say it was a bit different.I had a bit of trouble pinpointing at first. The directions say to drag the coil backwords in pinpoint mode to the center of the coil.It will beep in the ctr beacuse the rear half is turned off in pinpoint mode.I found it to be awkward.I gave up hunting the old site I was at,and headed to the closest tot lot. They are great when you get a new toy! lots of clad to practice on.Here is how I found it easiest. After a target is located I would work the coil side to side backwords towards me till I lost the signal. Then I would inch my way foward till I found the signal with the very tip. There it would be every time..I found a dollar in change in about 10 min with that thing. It covers alot of area FAST.I dont know what they do yet as far as depth.I can say I like it so far,but I need more time out with it to get better. If anyone else uses one, please tell me your secrets.

I don't have a bigfoot, but I heard that they cover a lot of ground. Really alot.. You might have to practice with that one for a while. Also some one will give up some clues later on for sure...Happy Hunting...Buster....

Hey Digger, congratulations on the new coil. Sounds like you're getting the hang of it, $1.00 in 10 minutes is good!
