Default My Mom's New MD

So, I upgraded my winnings from the Photo of the Year contest from the Ace 150 to the Ace 250 and had it sent to my Mom as a total surprise. She was absolutely taken off guard and loves it. So here is the good news!

She went to the very small town where she grew up, Dawson Springs, KY and walked into the bank to withdraw some cash. The lady working at the bank happens to live in the house where my Mom grew up. She told my Mom to bring over her MD and she could hunt in the yard where she grew up.

My Mom says that she remembers burying jewelery way back when she was little. I asked if my sister is going to go and she said that my Aunt, sister and maybe even my Uncle are going to go. They have to wait for good weather, though. She sounded so excited.

Me too! I can really hear the excitement in her voice. She was talking about something else before she told me about the lady in the bank. When she finished with her first story she said, "Ooooh, I have something to tell you!" She totally sounded like a little kid.

TQ Rocks!!!

Thats great Pris. Imagine digging up jewelry that she buried in her childhood, that would be neat.

Happy New Year

What a nice thing to do for your Mom.Whether they find that buried jewelery or not, I know they'll have a great time with your Mom reliving memories of long ago.

Nice, Edie! I wish I could have seen the look on her face when she got the machine! You ought to see if she'll become a member of the TQ family...that way I could fill her in on all the dirt every time you and I get together to hunt!
