MD Goals / Resolutions

I really liked Donlor's post with his 2008 goals...so I thought I'd start a thread to see what some of goals are for the rest of us (if you'd care to share)...personally, mine are as follows:

1. Meet (in person) 10 TQ members (not including the 2008 TQ Hunt)
2. Get OUT of the Non-Silver Club (sorry Guido!)
3. Recover a Morgan Dollar

I'm sure I'll have more as the year goes on - but those are my major goals...how about y'all?

2. I would like to limit my smiley usage in the chat room....
3. I would like to find the big find beach detecting this year...
4. I would like to meet up with a few more TQ family members....

My goal will have to be to get out more, as for finds, I'll take whatever comes, of course gold or platinum are both welcome finds .

My #1 goal is going to be enjoying my life alittle more, been a rough past few years. I enjoy going if I find $1 worth of clad, lol....beats the heck out of being stuck at home.

I'm gonna call mine "hopes" instead of goals

I hope we get permission to hunt 50% of the sites Echostar61 & I are researching

I'd like to find a few silver coins

I'd like to find a coin from the 1800's

I'd like to find a silver or gold pocket watch intact (lol, I said I was hoping)

I'd like to find something from some family property that was donated to build a church in the 1870's (wh's pic is my avatar)

I'll be happy just to be able to get out, feel some warm sun on my face.........and anything over that is just a bonus.

My New years resolution is to..
lose 15 lbs..And no Im not big..just want to turn back 8 years...
spend more time with the kids
Be more active, ride the mtn bike more
ride the harley more with the Wife
ride the Dirt bike more, for cardio
learn all I can about my industry...get smarter at what I do for a living!!!
Enjoy this new Hobby of Metal Detecting, and new friends on this forum
Get me a new Relic Metal detector..F75..if possible
Enjoy life to the fullest
Be a good Husband and Dad to my kids..I got 3 girls...

Well my MD goals are really only a few. I really would like to find a nice ring. I want to find another silver coin, any will do. I would like to meet any of you fine folks on this site. My last MD goal is to start hunting in all metal. I am gonna start slow and work into that one.

Personal goals. Drop another 30 pounds this year. Get out more often, Beale.

- Be a better husband, father, and pastor.
- Meet a lot of you (especially in Oct.).
- Grow in the MD hobby (knowledge and experience).
- Find some really nice stuff metal detecting.
- Write 3 more books during 08.
- Drop 10 pounds.
- Do something nice for someone every day of 08.
- Not allow myself to be rattled by road rage, sarcasm, or people who are having a bad day themselves.
- Remember to be thankful for what I have and the people I am privileged to know.
- And above all, to glorify God.
