Default After School Specials

Short of sounding like the Grinch that Stole Christmas, in my State of SC, the schools are starting back up. A reminder that all they new Christmas jewlery may be fresh finds @ Schools. At least thats my thinking....

Captain - that DOES sound a bit like the Grinch! But it IS true, nonetheless! I get this mental picture of you...lurking around the school yards wearing a Grim reaper cloak - and instead of a scythe - you're swinging a metal detector! I can even hear your evil chuckle as you grab a little gold "Hannah Montana" necklace from the tot lot!

Good Luck to Ya Captain. Kids here whent back yesterday but it's 8 degrees with the wind chill and Everything is Frozen. If the little critters here lose anything it will probably end up right in their pockets cuz I dought they'll even take their hands out of them. Good Luck in your Hunt.

I'm actually super unhappy about school starting again... because I have to drive past two of them to get to Kellyco!!! I completely detest traffic!!! But I'm glad somebody's happy about it... proof that there's always a silver lining!!

I agree KellyCoChick - it's been so nice not having to deal with 15mph zones and ughh.. the dreaded crossing guard. How many points for hitting one of them?

My son (16) went back Wenesday. I would like to go hunt his school. I am a bit leary though. The last principal kicked off detectors, (someone not filling holes). They have a new principal so it may change, Beale.

I hope there is jewelry at the schools, cause I hunted 5 during vacation and if not for free lunch programs Might have found more than the few pennies, and plastic toys.
