I was a big fan, till they decided to globalize. I'm in the hillbilly triangle, half way between Bristol, Martinsville, And Charlotte. Used to go to all of them. Last year I got to drive in the Richard Petty driving experience! 8 hot laps around Lowe's MS all by my lonesome! Awesome experience. But I have better thing's to support now.

I only live 20 minutes from Liquid1 and smack dab in the middle of NASCAR country so I'll have to whisper this: I'm a closet Formula One fan, but don't tell anyone.

I don't watch it any more. As a kid I was a big Richard Petty #43 fan then became a Dale Earnhardt #3 fan. After the accident I pretty much quit watching it.

Watching NASCAR is as exciting as watching paint dry but then again I love to watch golf. Each to his own.

I watch both, but not as much golf. It's like anything else, if you don't have a driver to pull for or a golfer to pull for, you probably won't enjoy either.
We have about 6 couples that take our campers to Martinsville every race, twice a year. Most of us stay for 11 days, not much to do, but we have a ball doing it, just waiting for race day to get here.
Sure would like to see Scott Riggs do well this year. He is the local guy from around here. He will be in the 66 car and driving for Haas this year.
