Default Deepest OLD COIN Detected ?

I know we all have those old areas that we detect and I was wondering just how deep ya'll have detected your oldest coin and with what detecter do you use ? I have a Whites Spectrum XLT and have detected a Morgan 1922 Silver dollar at about 7" in hard dirt last summer !!! Got another Question for ya ! How many of you are Relic hunters ? Civil War , Indian Wars etc.? I live in Oklahoma and was wondering how many of you detect around old forts and what the laws are reguarding hunting AROUND old forts ? Are detectors allowed around old forts ? Inquiring mind wants to know !!!!!! KENNETH

Thumbs up minelab xterra-70

I use the always reliable Minelab Xterra-70 with all three coils. I usually use the 18.5kHz DD coil when coin shooting or meteorite hunting, sometimes when meteorite hunting I'll use the 3.5 kHz coil.
This is an awesome machine, I always know what Im pulling out of the ground before I even put the shovel in the ground.
Happy Hunting,
Joe Kerchner
