Default Want to hunt a picnic grove with me?

Going this weekend to hunt a picnic grove, this picnic area is wooded. I bet it goes way back in years and only a few miles from home here. Anyone care to join me?

Oh, I forgot to tell you the best part about this picnic grove.....It has a swimming hole!

Its been hunted before bud, I remember hearing years ago the an older fella detected in the water and found a few rings. But there might be more if the water is shallow enough.

I remember swimming there as a kid and I know there must have been a few hundred baptismals in that water hole

That should be great! I hunt places I remember as a kid, they are very productive. The Mississippi River has taken up all our good swimming holes, however.

Greg,

How far are you from Shippingsburg PA? Wife is planning a road trip later on this year and although flying would be faster, she decided we should drive the 22 hrs there. She will not get on an airplane of any kind.

Hmmm, I'll have to look that up, probably a good ways as I do not know the name.
I'll let you know

I'd love to give that grove a try Greg. But, from what I've seen on the weather forecast, it's not going to be "huntin' weather".

Sure hope to make it down your way this Spring or Summer. If you get out there, best luck with the finds!

Hey the snow will be gone by Saturday, 40's on Saturday and a few days in the 40's next week.

You might check with John and catch a ride with him. I'd say John's due to come down anytime....I think he's got that fever again
