Default Geocaching

One of my other hobbies is Geocaching (geocaching.com). Just wondering if any one else on Treasure Quest is into my other high tech treasure hunt.

Hello Pauley and welcome to TQ. I read quite a bit on Geocaching and originally bought a small hand held GPS to do so. But.... right after I got the GPS I picked up my MD so I never got started. There is a lot of it around here about 25 miles north of Boston. I have also heard that it it HUGE in the Seattle area.
When the weather gets better, I may give it a shot.
Good luck in your hunts!!
Jerry

As far as I can tell it's a hide and seek game using a GPS

Default It is

Sort of a hide and seek BUT you do NOT need a GPS to participate. Clues are given as to where a cache is hidden...You find it and take something from the Cache and leave something in it's place for others to find. After you find the cache you document that you have found it...What you took and What you left.

I go to this site and look around. There are some interesting places around that could lead to some MD'ing sites.
