you know the one i'm talking about. Last year I found about 30 dollars in clad and one wheat penny in two hunts. Many of the quarters were from the 70's and 80's. Unfortunately nosilver quarters. I think the reason why no silver is because when the sand is low they replace it with new sand. also the sand park was built about 20 years ago.
the good news is that this school was built in 1926. I never did any under the grass detecting because at that time I was not too good at it and did not want to destroy private property. Now I am getting better at it. not sure if I could detect at the school anymore since I do not work there and also the administration changed. Would it be a good idea to detect the grassy street area around the school which is pretty much public? also way back the school did not have a wall all around it. Let me know.

I think it might be wise to ask. The "public" areas should be ok. The school itself may be private, Beale.

when I get a chance I will go over there and ask the father permission to detect the playground again and also since i am getting better at grass detecting I might give it a try as well. So many places to detect so little time.
