I've heard the words grist mill before and I know the location of one a short drive from here. My question though concerns what a grist mill actually made? I know we have a clothspin factory close by and its obvious what they made its in the name, but what is grist? Jason

Where does gristle come from then lol. That's cool I'm glad you finally shed some light on that for me. The grist mill in my area is underwater at the mouth of a creek. Let me know what kind of relics that you find. I'd like to see what I could be looking for as well. Thanx for another great post. Jason
