Not necessary but would help. when you find enough clad, you could probably get one then. Headphones would be better than a pin pointer when you get your 250, in my opinion

Dylan, are you ref. to a pinpointer or probe? The ACE250 has a built in pinpointer.

Hey Dylan, I really hope you find your grandmother's ring, that would be so awesome, it's also great to see such a young guy get into this hobby, hope you're able to get the Ace 250 soon, I'm sure you'll love it.

Good luck on finding that ring! When I was a kid, I lost my Dad's classring - and I'm still hoping to find it - now that I'm into MD'ing I'm hoping even more!

I promise to keep all of you guys posted on my finds..Everybody on here is so nice...Just like a family...I love metal detecting..And can't wait to get the Ace250..So it has a built Pinpointer in it?
