Graceful lady close to us Bluenoser's heart (history)
From the land of the Bluenose.....if you have noticed that is how I start all my posts. The reason being is this lovely lady that graces the back of our 10 cent piece. Butt deep in snow again so it's stamping time. Was also to the launch of this stamp and got a few signatures of folks connected to the issuance. Thanks, Leslie. As a sailboat sailor, I have always appreciated her grace and lines. No other schooner has her fine reputation.

A Sailing Masterpiece and a Source of Pride to All Canadians
My Great Gradad captained schooners out of Battle Harbour, Labrador and I am fortunate to have a wooden boat myself. You have to really love these wooden ladies to have one and as with all beautiful ladies the upkeep can be very expensive.
