Default Question for our sponsors...

Hi guys -

I am really torn between getting another 1266-X and an X-Terra 70... what I'm wondering is, if anyone has a "test-drive" type deal, where I might use one (Xterra 70) for a weekend and see how I like it...?

Anyone?

Well I'm a little to far away to let you have a go with my XT 70 but they are the best machines on the market at the moment.
Light Weight, excellent depth, coin & relic straight onto beach, hat more could you ask for.

I've watched the DVD on YouTube, and it doesn't look like it would be too intimidating to an old-schooler like me...

A buddy of mine had a Technetics Mark 1, and he could tell a silver dime from a clad, and I think I might like some kind of additional information myself.... I just don't want to give up the depth I know I'd get in a 66X...

Default It's a bit of a drive to Kellco but

I think it's safe to say that Ali would take you out for a spin with an X-Terra. Even if you didn't like the detector you would have somebody knowledgeable and fun to spend an hour with.

Cheers,

BDA

BDA's speaks the truth! If you could get down to Kellyco, we can letcha test drive whatever you want. My Data Analyst, Matt, and I just rent one for the weekend all the time (okay well it's been awhile but I don't wanna think about it ).

It gives me a chance to try 'em out and learn more - and that service is always available to you folks too.

Having said that, a drive down here may end up putting a dent into your funds for the actual machine, so why don't you call and talk to somebody? TQ gives tons of feedback but our people are good to talk to also. Let me know if you wanna talk to a sales dood and I'll put you in touch with someone!

So far I've found one very old license plate, a lot of nails, some funky green pennies and other misc. change.. but who's counting? I'm just here to have fun!

For the cost of a rental you couls buy one and use it for say 6 months and then sell it off if you don't like it for less than the rental price and also get to really know the detector. A weekend in my opinion is not a good enough time to tell whether the detector is right for you or not. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help you out.
