Default My South Beach hunt

On January the 2nd did not go as good as I thought it would. I found a lot of clad and also a lot of these little metal candles all over the beach. I did do a real good job cleaning the beach and detected from 7A.M. until 2 P.M. taking a 30 minute lunch break. I really thought I was going to come out with at least one piece of jewlery but it did not turn out that way. all in all I had a great time. Oh yeah two days ago I did find a gold earring at a park with a purple diamond and I think the diamond is legit not too sure. will post it later this week. I will be going to South Beach sometime next Month and will be taking a day off hitting 5 areas 4 of which I have never been to. It should be good. I will let you all know. haqppy hunting.

Default it is funny

I have found some jewlery but in the most unexpected places. I did find that sterling silver chain in South Beach but I was sure that one day after New Years I was going to clean house but it was not like that. Anyways it was good. I need to take a picture of that earring when I get a chance. My wife said the diamond looks real but it is purplish. What are those called? saphires, or rubies? Still not that good with the terminologys. Will get better as time goes by. Thanks in advance.

Purple stones are possibly amethyst or tanzanite normally. Myself, I don't have great luck on the beaches I hunt except for clad. I just enjoy the atmosphere and beauty more than anything and keep hoping to find something good.

Still a good hunt on the beach. I really like to hunt there now. Have found a few of those candles also and the famous metal tent peg..not to be out done by the beer can buried down 10 inches.Thought I had something on that one....Glad you got to get out for a while..Happy Hunting..Buster...
