Default You bleed a little when you rip your tongue off the metal

but the blood helps you remember to NEVER do that again.

I'm laughing , cause I did do this!!
One day way back in grade school, I was waiting in line to get on the bus. And there was these metal hand rails, well they looked so cool and icy I couldn't help myself so I did it, I wasn't dared to do it or anything...and yep my tongue stuck instantly, without any hesitation on my part, I jerked my head back quickly, and I swear a small peice of my tongue was left there. LOL. Funny thing is, no one even noticed I did it! I never did that again.
I laugh my butt off ever time I see that part in the Christmas Story.

Can't say I have ever done that before but I do remember my sister when we were small somehow stuck her tongue on the metal in the freezer and it was stuck... I wanna say my mom or dad ran and got some water to unstick her tongue. It bled....

Gosh, horrible now to think about, but it's a very funny topic Indy!

Many a ND kid has had a prank of this nature pulled on them -- the lucky ones get to see it once and never experience it themselves... you can try and guess which category I fell into....LOL
